Volunteer days are a chance to dig, weed, plant, and harvest while learning about sustainable farming practices!

Some of the activities that volunteers assist with include:
Prepping beds for planting including weeding, adding compost and other organic soil amendments
Installing or repairing irrigation
Transplanting seedlings
Direct seeding salad mixes and root crops into beds
Harvesting and processing root crops, greens, and other vegetables

Volunteer days are typically Mondays through Fridays but can accommodate other schedules on a case by case basis. Please include details of your availability in your volunteer application.

Volunteers must be 15 years or older, and we welcome people with a range of physical abilities. Tasks vary and can be matched to your comfort level, from nursery seeding and washing vegetables to more physical work like broadforking.
