the vision
Abl Farm envisions a future where regenerative practices restore soil health and provide fresh, local produce for our community. Growing practices
We are not certified organic but we grow using organic practices—crop rotation, beneficial flowers, and organic approved pest control—to manage pests, diseases, and weeds without use of any synthetic chemicals. Other sustainable and regenerative practices to conserve water and build long‑term soil health include composting, cover cropping, drip irrigation, mulching, and feeding microbes in the soil. These growing methods promote ecological balance to keep our farm productive, eco‑friendly, and resilient for generations.
Community Supported Agriculture
Community Supported Agriculture or CSA is a business model where consumers can support farmers by buying a share of a farm’s harvest in advance. Subscribers then receive weekly shares of produce over a set number of weeks. CSAs are a great way to get the freshest produce straight from the farm to your table, try new vegetables, and be creative in the kitchen recipes. It also promotes a healthier lifestyle by encouraging you to cook with whole, fresh ingredients. Signing up for CSA is a great way to be a part of a food movement that supports local farmers and a more resilient food system.
