1. Do I need to register for the event? Registration is required as there are a limited number of spots for each community work day. A Liability Waiver is also collected during the registration process to be able to participate at the event.
2. Can I still participate if I have physical limitations?
Absolutely! We welcome everyone to be part of the event. Garden work can involve tasks like digging, lifting, or bending, but volunteer farmers can assist where needed. Whatever your ability, there’s a meaningful way to contribute.3. Do I need to bring anything?
We’ll provide most of the supplies, but you’re welcome to bring gloves, a hat, water bottle, and sunscreen to stay comfortable.4. Can kids join the event?
Yes! This is a family-friendly event with activities for all ages. Children under the age of 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult.5. Do I need gardening experience to participate?
Not at all! Volunteers of all experience levels are welcome. Our Farmers and Garden Ambassadors will guide you through each activity.6. What happens if it rains?
The event will still take place with light rain. In case of heavy weather, we’ll notify registrants of any changes by email or social media.7. How do I sign up to volunteer again in the future?
